Security

Last updated: 1 July 2026

Your security is your own to hold — and we want you to be able to spot anyone pretending to be us. This page sets out exactly how 234 Exchange will and will never contact you, so you can tell the difference at a glance.

How to know it's really us

  • We never message you first asking for money, details, or "urgent" action.

If someone DMs you claiming to be 234 Exchange support, treat it as a scam.

  • We never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private keys. Nobody

legitimate ever will. Anyone who does is trying to steal from you.

  • **We never ask you to "verify," "validate," or "unlock" a wallet by sending

crypto** to an address. That is always a scam.

  • We never ask for remote access to your device, or for your bank password,

card PIN, or one-time codes.

Our only official channels

Anything outside this list is not us — even if it uses our name or logo.

  • Website: the only official domain is 234exchange.com. Check the spelling

every time; look-alike domains are a common trick.

  • Support email: support@234exchange.com
  • Telegram: [t.me/xchange234](https://t.me/xchange234)
  • X (Twitter): [x.com/234exchange](https://x.com/234exchange)
  • Instagram: [instagram.com/234exchange](https://instagram.com/234exchange)
  • Facebook: [facebook.com/234exchange](https://www.facebook.com/234exchange)

If a channel, phone number, or "admin" account isn't on this list, it isn't 234 Exchange.

Before you send — verify the deposit address

When you cash out or swap, we show you a deposit address to send your crypto to. Two habits protect you completely:

  • Verify the address character-by-character before you send — at minimum,

check the first few and last few characters match what your wallet is about to send to. On the send screen we highlight those characters for you to compare.

  • Beware clipboard-swap malware. Some malware silently replaces a crypto

address you copy with the attacker's address. Copying and pasting is not enough on its own — always eyeball the pasted address against ours before confirming.

  • Match the network. Send only the asset and network shown. Sending on the

wrong network (e.g. a TRC20 asset to an ERC20 address) can be unrecoverable.

Good habits

  • Bookmark 234exchange.com and reach us through the bookmark, not through

search ads or links in messages.

  • Keep your device and wallet software up to date.
  • 234 Exchange is non-custodial on swaps — funds route through the executing

exchange, never held by us — so treat your wallet keys as yours alone to guard.

Think something's wrong?

If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be 234 Exchange, or you're unsure whether something is genuine, stop and contact us at support@234exchange.com before you act. We would always rather answer a question than see you lose funds.
